There is a new and disturbing fad now making the rounds in some Spirit-filled circles: chasing after spiritual experiences such as time travel, being transported in the spirit realm to places both earthly and astral, and encounters with angelic “guides.”

In Romans 8:19 Paul writes, “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing [or manifestation] of the sons of God.” Paul saw this as a Last Day event, when Jesus returns and we are given our new immortal bodies.
