Esther was given a difficult assignment from the Lord which could have cost her life. Even though she lived a life of great wealth and comfort as queen, she was willing to forsake everything because of her love for God and her people. How far would you go in obeying God?
Jesus said, “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” (John 15:8) Jesus apparently chose fruit as a way to explain our new nature. But what exactly does it represent, how do we produce it, and why is it so important to the Father?
Mordecai asked Esther to put her life on the line for her people, and declared his belief that God had brought her to this place of prominence “for such a time as this.” Join Gary Fishman and the Word Encounter crew as we discuss how God places us strategically where we live, work, fellowship, etc., in order to accomplish His purposes.
Jesus compared our relationship with Him to a vine and branches (John 15). This means our connection with Him is as normal and natural as breathing.
